Scope and content
Sub-series consists of articles Wassermann published in various journals and magazines. These are mostly academic works, but the sub-series also includes some pieces for the popular press, including Wassermann's regular column (1999-2001) in Today's Grandparent, a magazine for which she served as Editorial Consultant. In total, the sub-series includes over 100 articles from ca. 30 different periodicals. Of the academic journals, Wassermann published heavily in Childhood Education from 1972-1992 (files 6-10) and Phi Delta Kappan from 1976-2012 (files 22-24). Wassermann's practice was to retain the entire issue of the journal or magazine in which her piece appeared. File titles are based on the name of the journal; Wassermann's own articles are listed the file descriptions.

But the files also include copies of articles by other authors (because Wassermann retained copies of the entire journal issue), to which third-party copyright will apply. For more on information on using third-party protected materials, see the note on Terms governing use at the fonds level.
