Gerald Giampa was a fine printer and type designer. He ran Cobblestone Press in the 1970s and 1980s, then moved to digital font design with the digital foundry, Lanston Type Company. He designed the Bodoni 26 font, named one of the top 100 types by the Type Directors Club.
