The sub-series consists of records relating to Beyerstein's academic career at SFU, and professional commitments. Activities and events documented include Beyerstein's tenure review; course development work; involvement with SFU committees such as the Sterling Prize Committee, the Animal Care Committee, and the Department of Psychology Colloquium Committee; and participation in external committees, such as the Committee for the Scientific Investigation of Claims of the Paranormal, the Society of British Columbia Skeptics, and the Drug Policy Foundation.

Includes a copy of the 1997 Annual Report for the Department of Psychology (file 16), correspondence, memoranda, reports, notes, meeting minutes, a CV, speeches, and speaking notes.

Records include correspondence, photographs, research notes, working papers, and teaching material; offprints, lectures, and copies of newspaper and magazine articles authored by Beyerstein; and draft manuscripts for chapters of published books.

Collection consists of biographical information about Lorne M. Kendall and a group of his papers and lectures selected by Mary Kendall.

Sub-series consists of records relating to planning for the budget requirements of new and proposed academic programs, including proposals that were not successful.
